Fort Collins WAPF Chapter

Weston A Price Foundation

The Wappers Blog

Comments: 61

This is our first picnic as a chapter; what a great way to meet other Wappers in the area!

What to bring:

Meat (or alternative) for you and your guests (children are welcome) to grill;

Weston Price style side dish or dessert to share;

Plates, silverware, cups.

Grills will be provided as well as water and hopefully some fermented drinks. We will have some demos of how to prepare fermented veggies as well as other goodies to sample. There will also be time for chapter news, Q & A, and visiting.

Many thanks to Eva Carran & her hubby for sharing their sweet farm on the Thompson River with us. It can be cool at night in August, so dress accordingly. Hope to see you there!

Note: The Carran homestead is past the Ellis Ranch just off Cty Road 29; look for signs on Hwy 34 & Cty Rd. 29.

Welcome to our new website!

We hope this will be our permanent home online for a good, long time now. Many thanks to Grassroots.org for providing the hosting, etc. for our online presence. This will greatly help us in fulfilling our duty as a local chapter to share information for Fort Collins area residents on how to find and use fresh local nourishing foods.
